No, you don't. We are happy to work with companies, private individuals, school classes, kindergartens, parents' unions, sports clubs, or anyone else who wants to sell products and support themselves.
There is no set-up fee to start using Printmotor. You don't pay us anything, but rather we pay you each month for the products you have sold.
Printmotor offers a platform where you can start your own store and sell printed goods to anyone anywhere in the world. Here is the whole story in a few bullet points:
Printmotor uses Stripe (www.stripe.com) for all payments from the customers. Stripe currently offer payments by Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit, debit and electron cards.
Printmotor uses PayPal for all payments to partners outside Finland. In your Account settings you can enter your PayPal account details. For Finnish citizens we use Ukko.fi service. For companies, invoicing is also possible.
Printmotor makes the payment for sales during the following calendar month. For example, the payment for January sales will be made during February.
You can currently present your prices in Euros (EUR) or Swedish Kronas (SEK). We will add other currencies in the future.

In most countries, income from Printmotor is taxable income and you need to state it in your tax statement. Printmotor does not send statements to any local tax authorities, you are responsible for taking care of these. However, for Finnish citizens Printmotor uses Ukko.fi service for payouts. Ukko.fi will handle all the mandatory taxes, costs etc. on your behalf and all you need to do is register to their service and provide them your income-tax card.
Printmotor operates from EU so you do not need to pay duties if you order from within the EU. Depending on the value of your purchase you might be responsible for duties or other fees if you are located outside the EU.
Yes, you can. You can close your store whenever you want, no questions asked.

Yes, you can! The only limitation is that you will need to use a different email address when setting up each of your stores. The email address is your Store's admin username.
Printmotor is available globally. It does not matter where you are located, you can start a business selling goods anywhere in the world.
Printmotor delivers the orders using international postal services and UPS.
Yes! You, the retailer, always decide the end-user prices for the products. You can see examples of Printmotor product prices and calculate your profit here.
Printmotor manufactures and ships products normally within 48 h of an order (weekdays). The delivery times vary from country to country - here are estimated delivery windows: Europe 5-7 days, North America 7-10 days, Rest of the world 10-14 days. Please note that the delivery times do not include the time a package possibly stays in customs.
Yes, you can! You can change the logo of your store in Store settings. You can also create your custom store template if you like. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to personalize your store further!
You can choose the address yourself; it will be in the format www.printmotor.com/yourchoice. Please note that the address must be four characters or more.
